Hygiene - An integral part of maintaining your teeth for life is the removal of plaque and tarter regularly. The frequency of your visits is  based on your individual needs and oral health. Each visit our office will update your medical history, perform an oral health screening exam, check your teeth for cavities, review oral hygiene instructions and monitor your periodontal (gum) condition. Flouride treatments are also recommended for children and adults to help repair and protect your teeth.

Sealants - Highly effective in preventing decay on the biting surfaces of your molar teeth, sealants are a simple procedure in which a tooth colored coating is placed on the tooth surface. This effectively "seals" the deep grooves where decay is most likely to start.

Periodontal Treatment - Peridontal disease is seldom painful and frequently free of any obvious signs or symptoms; disease can progress undetected, destroying supporting bone. Early treatment and prevention is essential. While peridontal disease is caused by plaque, a number of other factors, including poorly fitting bridges, badly aligned teeth and defective fillings, contribute to the development of this condition.

Tooth Decay and Repair Often a tooth will not start bothering you until there is significant loss of tooth structure. With the help of routine x-rays,  hidden problems can be detected before becoming severe. Composite (natural tooth color) fillings or traditional silver fillings are available to repair areas of your teeth that have been damaged by tooth decay or slight wear.

Sensitive TeethWhen the gum line recedes, a patient may experience root sensitivity. This can be very uncomfortable and sometimes quite painful. We provide in offices varnishes to help eliminate root sensitivity or we can prescribe take home kits.
